1. Please describe your Shadowbane game play history. How long did you play Shadowbane? Which servers did you play on?

I started playing in 2006. Shadowbane was my first online game!!! It was very difficult at the beginning. I was still in school back then and my english sucked, but I improved my gameplay and english skills very quick and a few month later I was leading Thors Hammer. A european, mainly german guild that was subbed to Lordknights. On Thurin we subbed to Sinister Sabotage. They were part of LK aswell on Mourning. I played very active till the servers went down. The servers I played on were Mourning and then Thurin.

2. What is your age?

24

3. How much time will you be able to dedicate to the project? What times of the day are you on the forums?

I'm online as often as I can. I usualy check the forum every 2-3 days. I work 3 shifts which change every week. So I'll be on different times.

4. Have you moderated any other communities in the past?

No, Shadowbane is the first game for me were I'm interessted in doing more then just log in and kill Skah!!

5. What makes you better-suited for a mod position than other applicants?

It's 2013 now. The technic has changed alot. Everything is getting bigger, better and faster. I have a high end PC. I would make videos / streams in high resolution (1920x1200). Honestly the game doesn't look that bad with those settings. I play on a 26" screen and it looks pretty good. So if you would show that stuff to new people I'm sure they would be way more interessted in checking Shadowbane out.

6. Please describe how you would handle the following scenarios if you were a moderator:

a. A forum poster makes a thread in General Discussion to poke fun at a guild that recently lost a bane on Closed Beta.

Forumbane has always been part of shadowbane. I usualy don't pay much attention to those kind of posts. Me and my guys we speak through actions ingame. Let the PvP chat do the talking :P. Nah, serious now. If hes not hardcore Skah! so the others don't feel like logging in anymore I'd say it's part of the game. As long as it's not against the forum rules.

b. A player who was recently banned makes a post in the Closed Beta Arena saying he or she thinks the ban was not warranted.

We already had that a couple times. Take a close look at the case and see if there was a good reason or maybe a mistake. Mistakes happen.

c. A closed beta participant makes a post in General Discussion expressing that he doesn't feel the project is moving as quick as it could, going as far as to say that people are "wasting their time" posting on the boards.

You guy's have to deal with those posts since this project started. Nothing much you can do besides telling them to bear with us and be patient.

d. A new user posts pornography as their first post.

I guess that person didn't read the forum rules or is not taking them seriously. I would just ban him without hesitating.

e. One of your guild mates has a signature that is larger than is allowed by the code of conduct.

Well, a large signature is no big deal. Just ask him to change it and follow the coc he agreed on when he joined this forum.

Hmm, there is not realy a "Why do you wanna become a CR"
I'd realy love to promote it via videos or even streams. The 10v10 tourney is basicly what brought me here! I talked to Rewen during the fights yesterday when he was streaming. I was thinking: "Skah! if you would show this stream or the shadowbane recordings Candi did during the banes to someone who had never seen or heared of Shadowbane. The person would take a short look and say what a old Skah! looking game." In short.... I wanna help you guys with promoting the game to make it more popular! I hope this part is ok. :D

I am sorry, after further consideration, I don't believe that your skill set is what we are looking for at this time. Thank you for applying.
